UC Softphone - Mobile App Guide
This Guide will show how to download and activate your Extension via the UC Softphone Mobile App.
The Mobile App is available for both Android via Play Store and iPhone iOS via iTunes App Store.
Please note that the Mobile App for Android, iPhone and Tablets does rely on WiFi and Mobile Data (LTE/5G/4G) strength that may cause Audio Quality and connectivity problems.
It also relies on the Updates for the Smartphone and the Mobile App. Please keep them up-to-date.

To better use the Bluetooth Device, please have the UC Softphone Mobile App open at all times, otherwise you might have a disconnection when answering calls.
If you require support, please provide:
Exact Time and Date of the Call.
Number that called or number dialed. 
Exact behaviour. Example: I answered the call on Bluetooth and the call dropped after 1 minute.

Installing Mobile App


Access the Portal with the credentials set during the setup process.

Go to Phones Tab then click on UC Softphone.

Once you see a Window pop-up, open your Mobile Device Camera and scan the QR Code.

Most modern Smartphones will automatically recognize and prompt you to open in respective Store.

If you cannot use your Smartphone Camera Scan, just open the store and type UC Softphone.

In case you cannot find it, please open the PDF Document on your Smartphone and click on appropriate image.

Setting up your Extension

Once the Mobile App is installed, please Open the App and Allow ALL settings it asks for.
In order to make and receive calls, you need to Login to the App.
Please use appropriate User provided in the UC Softphone screen.
The password is what you have set in the initial setup process via the Welcome e-mail.

Making Calls


Once logged in, you should be able to access your personal phone contacts,
work contacts or contacts added through the Portal and make/and receive calls
whenever needed, if the connection is stable.

To access them simply tap on All in the upper right corner and choose
appropriate list.

Voicemail Access


To access the your extension Voicemail tap on the small icon resembling a tape (Second icon on the bottom left).
It will show all your new messages.
Alternatively, you may dial *97 or 5001 to access your Voicemail Inbox.

History


You may view all your placed and received calls by accessing the History option.
Simply tap on the handset icon on the bottom of the Mobile App (second icon from the right).

Chat


The Mobile App has a chat option. To access that feature, simply tap on the Chat icon in the bottom middle of the Mobile App.
